On the Road Towards Love
Dating to find 'the one' is like this: you have a destination in mind (a wonderful partner) yet through the rain you persist because you have one heart-centered goal in mind: to see and be seen with deep, intimate love.
I know because I love my guy so much and feel loved by him.
I wanted to share seeing the sunset over the ocean with my friend + take her to a special secret spot (I won't tell you where).
But, as we set off to make the hour drive, the sky grew darker and darker. Then it began to rain. We decided to press on anyway.
When we arrived it was still raining. Only two others were there, they soon left.
We stayed and took in the view of the vast ocean, breathing in the sea air. For me, seeing and breathing the ocean is a balm and renewing, too.
Do you have something that makes you feel that way that you do?
Our persistence paid off. The result was rewarding. We set up our chairs and took in a gorgeous, dramatic sunset. Other people began to trickle out to watch it, too.
I had on my fave mermaid t-shirt from another friend, too. :)
On your own journey to love, take time to fill yourself up. As the Alan Saunders *quote goes, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans."
*(This quote is often misattributed to John Lennon)
