A Powerful Soundbite
Gandhi didn't say that phrase you've heard a hundred times: be the change you wish to see in the world.
Someone boiled it down to a soundbite. That's cool.
His idea comes to mind because I'm pushing myself to change a part of myself that needs updating. Once I begin to see it, I can no longer be it. Phew. That's step one. Acknowledging it, noticing when "she" shows up and not running in the other direction, ha ha.
I changed Gandhi's actual quote to speak directly to women because I presume he wrote "men" to stand for everyone. Times change. We want to be included. Yet his idea is incredibly powerful and true.
If you want to see change in your own world, become it first.
How? I recommend you have a strategy, support, curiosity, and someone to safely examine it with. Set yourself up for success from the start.
