5 Reasons You May Be Single But You Want a Wonderful Relationship
1. You have a strict superficial requirement, for ex. he's got to be 6 ft tall. It closes many doors to potential partners, who might be a bit shorter, (or fill in the blank) but a great man for you #OpenUpToPossibilities
2. You may have a blindspot to how you're communicating. You believe you have high self-esteem, but you attract guys that are critical, undervaluing, or emotionally unavailable so something is wonky #ActionsSpeakLouderThanWords
3. You write an online profile that shows you’re having a wonderful life, but don't illustrate any space for a partner to be in it. If he can't see himself in the picture, is he necessary? Try something like,"we like having a picnic & playing old-school board games outside at sunset" - whatever you enjoy that he can see himself enjoying with you #IncludeHimInThePicture 🖼
4. You put a shopping list on your online profile - that's uninspiring. It's got a 'gimme' vibe. I wrote about that recently in this newsletter on May 19: A Dating Profile is Not a Shopping List. #ShowDontTell
5. Not giving a guy a second date if you're unsure if you're attracted to him. Great men become more attractive as we get to know them. A friend of mine shortened her first date with a guy because she wasn't attracted to him, but she saw that he was a good man so saw him for a 2nd date. She married him! #GiveHimAFairShot
